Terms and conditions for providers


Federation University reserves the right to refuse or, without prior notice to you, remove any existing advertisement that we consider is or may be reasonably considered to be harmful, offensive, inappropriate, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable, or for any reason the University considers  appropriate the Advertiser must provide accurate and current information when submitting a listing on the Private Housing Service. The University expects that persons seeking accommodation will be dealt with in accordance to the relevant provisions of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation pertaining to accommodation standards, rental agreements and bonds. Further information in relation to those obligations can be found at www.consumer.vic.gov.au.

In the event that the Federation University's Private Housing Service adminstration receive a complaint that a landlord or landlord’s property fails to comply with the law then it may be necessary or appropriate to report this matter to the local council, Consumer Affairs Victoria or other relevant authority.
